Our College

 

Established in 1963, St Damian’s is a Roman Catholic 11 – 16 Mixed Comprehensive College situated on the edge of Ashton-under-Lyne, bordering on neighbouring hills and fields. The college offers an enviable range of facilities in our new purpose built building which opened in May 2011.

Our building and facilities include: fully equipped science labs, IT rooms, classrooms, drama studio, music and practice rooms, sports hall and outside multi games area (MUGA), floods lights astro- turf area, and an extensive sports field. The whole school benefits from wi-fi coverage which means that each student has the opportunity to use individual devices or computers in every classroom and outside areas.
