Selected from thousands of nominations, Mr Logue is one of just 68 Silver Award winners across the country who celebrated on ‘Thank A Teacher Day’, as the Pearson National Teaching Awards marks its 21st year of celebrating excellence in education.

Award-winning Mr Logue was presented with a prestigious Pearson Silver Teaching Award trophy to celebrate his outstanding achievement, other fellow Silver Award winners across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Mr Logue was both delighted and surprised to have won the Silver Pearson Headteacher of the Year in a Secondary School. The best kept secret was revealed during Celebration Evening in front of a full house of his family, pupils, parents and staff.
