Our intent for PSHE is to support the personal development of our students in order to develop responsible, respectful and active citizens. There are 3 core themes running through the curriculum: health well-being, relationships and living in the wider world. Throughout these themes, FBV and protected characteristics are explicitly taught. We also focus on careers as another one of our key themes. There are 4 key concepts running through all lessons, supported by outside agencies - critical analysis, society, identity and choice. Finally, our aim is to support SMSC, safety and relationships and for students to make informed decisions about their lives.
