Leadership Skills
Pupil leadership roles at St. Damian’s first and foremost shape pupils’ personal character development. Pupil leaders embrace challenges, responsibility and accountability and a number aspire to become future leaders in later life. They develop into confident and articulate leaders who are empowered to make a difference and have a strong positive impact on the whole school community. Pupil leaders embody St. Damian’s core values and are trustworthy, honest and well-mannered. They show respect for others at all times. They accrue a number of skills that are highly valued in the workplace such as decision-making, problem solving and being able to reflect and evaluate.

Roles and Responsibilities
Pupil leadership roles in St. Damian’s school community pro-actively build pupils’ self-esteem and resilience. There are a variety of ways in which pupils can take on pupil leadership roles and expand their talents and interests. Opportunities are open to pupils of all ages and abilities.
