I have been a member of staff at St Damian’s since 2004 and I have had the privilege of fulfilling a variety of roles in school serving the members of our community. Today I am the safeguarding lead, overseeing the wellbeing and inclusion of students. My role is central to St Damian’s as it helps to prepare our students for their futures. Student wellbeing is critical to success, and I role model how this can be actively carried out when I am both in school and at home. I know that St Damian’s has the potential to transform young people’s lives and it provides a wide range of experiences that enrich their understanding of the world. It is because of this that I am proud to work here as a teacher as well as being a parent of children here too.
