I qualified as Maths teacher in 2008 at a Catholic Secondary School in Oldham.  I was appointed as an Assistant Headteacher in January 2017 at St Damian’s, having previously been an Assistant Headteacher at an Outstanding school in Salford since 2013. Prior to going into teaching, I studied a degree at Lancaster University and spent some time in the Finance Industry and as a Youth Worker. St Damian’s is a wonderful place to work, the staff and pupils have created somewhere that is truly special. At St Damian’s, I have the privilege to hold responsibility for: Teaching and Learning; Standards and Assessment. I also line manage Year 7, Maths, Music, Art and IT. I take great joy in observing the pupils enjoy their lessons and develop their confidence and skills across the whole school.
