I have been teaching English and English Literature for the last 19 years and have a passion for all things ‘literature’. The importance of developing good literacy skills are fundamental for our pupils in building successful careers and lives for themselves.  Almost all careers, further training and study, require sound literacy skills. I truly believe that every book you read will teach you something and that is why I dedicate my time to ensuring that our pupils at St Damian’s leave as literate young adults. I have been teaching at St Damians for the last 4 years and I am looking forward to my new role as Associate Assistant Head and the difference I will make to pupils’ lives.  In my spare time, I enjoy holidaying abroad, especially city breaks and also spending time with my many nieces and nephews.
